'Mum, i think i was a Drag Queen in another life"

a true thought and a true comment I made today, to the shock of my mother and the hilarity it caused her.

as strange a comment as it is, i really think its true.
I've thought before that if I was a guy I'm pretty certain I would be gay.
I wouldnt give up my musicals, music, sequins, glitter (and other shiny substances) or fruity girlie drinks for anything.

Yes I know just coz guys like that stuff it doesnt mean they are gay. I know many guys that like the same music and musicals and shiny things and fruity girlie drinks and are very much straight. I just think that if I was a guy I would be gay, and id love it :)
all of this came to me whilst i was watching 'The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert' (classic aussie film if you havent seen it) so the thoughts probably dont really count.

One other thing that i thought while watching this afternoon. it really frustrated and angered me how little things have really changed for the gay community since the early 90's.
Nearly 20 years later and they are still not being accepted to many communities/groups.

Anyway, just a short blogpost venting some of my ponders :)
